What We Do
We are not just a group of fly fishers that brag about how big or how many we catch... Well I guess we do our share.. BUT more than that we are dedicated to helping preserve the excellent steam habitat we have here in South-Central Missouri. The Roubidoux Fly Fishers have been involved with stream improvement projects over the years in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Conservation. We might be planting trees to improve stream banks, or monitoring water quality, or building sky hooks for improved stream habitat or helping the MDC with fish surveys and fish plantings.
During the winter we get together once a month to ty flies, tell lies, eat cookies and drink coffee. We have a monthly club meeting to discuss projects, listen to guest speakers and share ideas.
